Experienced Utilities Operations Consultant

We are searching for a seasoned business consultant with ideally more than seven years consulting work, having specialized in Utilities and with experience in Network Operations (Distribution and Transmission). We expect candidates to have strong project management skills, and at least five years exposure in Operational Improvement Programs. The ability to develop client relationships that lead to extension opportunities within existing accounts.

Requirements:

  • Ideally five years consulting experience in Operations Improvement: Business Transformation, Process and Organizational redesign, or Supply Chain and Procurement, along side with Change Management
  • Ideally five years of Utilities industry experience, with two or more in Network Operations (Distribution or Transmission).
  • Candidate will ideally have a network of contacts in the industry and a robust understanding of how the industry operates
  • Operational experience in Utilities is essential
  • Strong project management skills
  • Highly capable of managing a team of both clients and consultants
  • Ability to develop client relationships that lead to extensions within existing accounts
  • 3.1 (US)/2:1 (UK) or above degree from a highly competitive University (US)/ top 20  ranked University (EMEA)

  • Extremely articulate – able to take complex ideas and make them simple and compelling

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the gravitas to relate well to clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Attention to detail with the ability to ensure high standards within your team
  • Ambitious for one’s own professional development, as well as that of the business
